tuesday, 3 february - i told myself that this year i would not collect any sea shells, but i just can't walk on the beach and see those beautiful shells and not stoop down and pick it up just to inspect it of course, but then it goes into my pocket! ;) the difference this year will be that i will not pick up just any shell, it has to be a special one! hahaha! we'll see...

Hi Patti, I didn't know you had a blog but I found on the SC site :) Lucky you to be down south for a good while! It sounds like collecting shells is just unavoidable, it happens to me too. Have a great time there and I will check back for updates.
You can collect them for me if you want. ;p I do the same, can't resist beautiful shells! and if you happen to find a sand dollar or 2 , please bring one home for my boys? We search every summer for one and have only found 1 in 5 years..
